Mythic Garden Sculpture Exhibition 2010
Mythic Garden Sculpture Exhibition 2010
The exhibition is held in our five-acre woodland & water garden in the Dartmoor National Park, displaying National Collections of Birch and Alder trees. We have held summer sculpture exhibitions at the Mythic Garden annually since l992. During these years the trees have matured to create tall copses and secretive sculpture sites. The National Collections of Birch and Alder that we hold here provide a unifying aspect to the very varied work we display. The land slopes and twists interestingly to allow individual sculptures their own frames and to prevent the visual disturbance of seeing several pieces at once.
We have stone sculptures in materials such as Limestone, Granite and Sandstone. There are a range of metal sculptures in Copper, Steel and Wire. Carved wooden pieces, stoneware, bronze resin and glass. A wide range of media representing a broad range of styles and tastes, which we are sure will appeal. Image: Hilary Burns - Willow Arch
