What's On South West - South West Jazz

The South West is famous for its artists and craftspeople with the visual arts being particuarly associated with the western end of Cornwall. There is literature and music as well with plenty of  festivals throughout the summer monthsFolk music thrives, as does jazz, literary figures such as Thomas Hardy, Daphne Du Maurier and Agatha Christie are celebrated. The Eden Project, Brunel's bridges at Clifton and Plymouth and Georgian Bath as well as far older architectural gems and prehistoric sites all sit within what is still a green and largely rural landscape.
